Who We Are

We inspire citizens to act by igniting news, now

We are a Public Relations and Integrated Communications agency with specific expertise in: Automotive, Cause Marketing, Consumer Electronics, Consumer Packaged Goods, Corporate Social Responsibility, Energy & Environment, Food & Beverage, Financial Services, Health & Wellness, Multicultural, Real Estate, Retail, Sports & Entertainment, and Travel & Tourism.

We leverage our award-winning work in these sectors to understand the intricacies and inner workings of your business. This knowledge allows us to build iconic brands, and accurately guide dialogue with employees, customers and stakeholders, leading to programs that effectively grow your market share while living up to your values and promises.

Our accumulated knowledge covers the spectrum of operations, logistics and distribution, customer relations, regulatory environments, merchandising, marketing, corporate culture and how key partners play a role in your success.

Further, people today are defined by more than how they consume, they are not purely identified by their career, age or postal code. They are citizens first. Seeing them through a single lens misses the mark. Understanding how citizens interact, learn, share, get inspired and share news within their networks has been at the core of our approach to public relations for more than 30 years.

This knowledge is what drives our ability to inspire audiences to act by Igniting News, Now and deliver on your business and brand building objectives.

Citizen operationalizes its business and works with clients with three values in mind:

Do what’s right.  Being direct, providing context and conceptualizing what’s truly the right thing to do, ensures that Citizen staff are thinking about the client and our commitment to deliver innovation, results and partnership.

Respect everyone. The need to have professional empathy, or being able to put yourself in someone else’s shoes is so important at a communications services firm. Relating to the pressures and demands of a client, the media or a stakeholder or understanding the power of an online influencer, colleague, customer or employee begins and ends with respect.

Strive for Excellence. We pride ourselves on strategy and innovation, but we know results are delivered by flawless execution. With an approach to enrich everything we touch and enlisting the strengths of others, we can assure our clients and each other we’ll deliver meaningful business results each and every time.

Citizen Relations has more than 200 staff in 9 cities and partners in more than 60 markets around the globe to deliver campaigns on both a global and local level.
